-Work for a Client-You are going to be randomly assigned a client to work with. You will create a flyer, note card, or postcard for the client based on their requests. The client will have one opportunity to critique your work when you are finished and make requests for changes. As a graphic designer, you do not always get to choose exactly what you like and have to work to meet a client's needs. Your end goal is to make your client happy. The flyers will hang in the school hallway prior to the events and the postcards will be used during the High School Art Show in May.

Mr. Methacton Flyer You are going to create a flyer specifically for a for a Mr. Methacton contestant. This poster will be hung throughout the high school. Each contestant has filled out a “design brief” form to provide you with information to assist in the designing process. Get ready to design! This is very similar to how the designing process would be for a graphic designer in the field.
  1. You will be assigned one contestant and have a deadline that you must meet. When you feel as though you have met all of his needs you will email the the contestant a JPEG of your finished poster.
  2. The contestant has the ability to provide feedback and request alterations. Some designers provide multiple revisions for their clients. We are only allowing one.
    1. Below is a email template that you can copy and paste if you are not sure what to write in the email...
    Dear (student name),
My name is (your name) and I am currently in computer art II. I have designed _ for __. I have attached the file to this email. What changes should I make? What do you think? Please provide me with any feedback that will help me in the design process. I look forward to hearing back from you.
    Sincerely,
    (Your Name)
